Why a Complete Account Is Important
Before you can start charging your electric vehicle with StromNow, you need a fully set up account.
This protects both you and us from misuse and ensures that your charging sessions can be accurately billed.
A complete account includes:
a valid payment method,
a registered billing email address, and
a complete billing address.
This setup ensures that your account is secure, verifiable, and ready for billing before any costs are incurred.
Unfortunately, fraudulent activities do occur in the e-mobility market, which is why we take extra steps to verify accounts and protect our users.
Step-by-Step: Registration & First Login
1. Download and open the app
Download the StromNow app from the App Store and open it.
Select “Register” and follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
2. Add a payment method
Add a valid payment method such as credit card, Apple Pay, or PayPal.

3. Add your billing address
Next, enter your full billing address.
This is required to ensure your invoices are accurate and legally compliant.
You can update your billing address at any time – for example, if you move.
Separate Billing Email (Optional)
For companies or business users, you can set up a separate billing email address.
This address can be independent of your login email – ideal if your accounting department needs to receive invoices directly.
You’ll find this option in the app under:
