Subscription Cancellations & Refunds

Important: Canceling Does Not Automatically Mean a Refund

Updated over a month ago

We understand that billing questions or mistakes can happen.
If you cancel your StromNow subscription, this does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Your subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid billing period.

Optional: Contact Us First

In many cases we can resolve issues quickly (e.g., technical problems, feature misunderstandings, billing questions). This is optional and not required for an Apple refund.

  • In-app chat or [email protected]

  • We’ll review your case promptly and suggest the best next step

Apple Refunds (Last Resort)

StromNow subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Refunds are reviewed and processed solely by Apple. We don’t have access to Apple’s payment system and can’t issue refunds ourselves.

Typical situations Apple may consider for a refund include:

  • Unintentional purchase (accidental subscription)

  • Unauthorized charge (e.g., someone else used your account)

  • Verified technical issues that materially prevented use

Note: Apple decides independently under App Store policies. Processing time and outcome are Apple’s alone.

How to Request a Refund from Apple (If Needed)

  1. Select the relevant purchase/subscription period

  2. Describe your issue and submit the request

  3. Wait for Apple’s response (you’ll be notified by email)

FAQ

Do I automatically get a refund when I cancel?
No. Canceling stops renewal but doesn’t refund charges already paid. Your current period remains active until it ends.

Who can issue a refund?
For iOS subscriptions, only Apple. We can’t trigger a refund, but we’re happy to help you assess next steps.

I subscribed by mistake — what should I do?
Please contact us first at [email protected]. If a refund is appropriate, submit it to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Conclusion

  • Canceling ≠ refund

  • Talk to us first (optional) — we often solve issues fast

  • Apple refund should be the last step, and Apple makes the decision
