In this article, you’ll learn how to start a charging session for your electric vehicle using the StromNow app.

Step-by-step guide
1) Open the app
Launch the StromNow app and make sure you’re logged in with a stable internet connection.
2) Select a station (Map → Station details)
Go to the Map tab.
Tap the charging station you want to open its station details.
3) Check for “Charge Now”
If you see the “Charge Now” button in the station details, you can start charging via StromNow at this location.
If the button isn’t visible, charging via StromNow isn’t currently available at that station.
4) Choose connector & continue
Tap “Charge Now,” select the correct connector (and socket/ID), then tap “Continue.”
5) Review prices & payment method
You’ll see the prices and your payment method. Review and confirm they’re correct.
6) Start charging (slider)
Slide “Pay & Charge” to the right to start the session.
7) Confirm consent (if shown)
Read any prompts and tap “Confirm.”
8) Monitor progress
The session starts automatically. You can monitor charging in the app, at the station, or in your vehicle.

Check compatibility: Ensure the station’s connector and power match your vehicle.
Enable location access: Helps you find suitable stations faster.
Keep the app updated: Use the latest StromNow version.
