StromNow and Metrify: who handles your smart meter?

You can order your smart meter and complete the sign-up process directly through StromNow. We work with Metrify for this service. Our support team helps with questions about the offer and your order, as well as the StromNow app, connecting your car or home charger, and Smart Charging.

As our partner, Metrify handles the technical process for your smart meter. This includes checking installation requirements, arranging the appointment and installing the meter. For installation appointments, gateway questions or technical problems with the metering system, use the Metrify contact details in your order documents.

Your electricity supplier handles your tariff, supply contract and billing for the energy you use.

The local grid operator manages the electricity network and the grid connection.

Your metering operator is responsible for operating the meter and providing readings. You can find the relevant provider in your contract documents or on your electricity bill.

Replacing your meter does not automatically switch your tariff. If you want a dynamic tariff, arrange it separately with an electricity supplier and ask for confirmation of when time-based billing starts.
