“Now”: The fastest way to find the right charger

Swipe, don’t scroll

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Welcome to the Help Center!
With the new Now tab (top left in the app), you’ll find the right charging station in seconds — without endless zooming and scrolling on the map. Just swipe left or right (like popular dating apps) to cycle through the most relevant stations for you, each shown with the key details you need.

What is “Now”?

Now is your quick finder for charging stations. Instead of a map, you get one station card at a time — compact, focused, and decision-ready.

At a glance, you’ll see:

  • Distance to the station

  • Price per kWh

  • Estimated charging time 10–80%

  • Charging speed/power (e.g., AC 22 kW, DC 150 kW)

  • Live availability (free/occupied connectors)

  • Nearby POIs (points of interest): e.g., restaurant, restroom, supermarket, hotel

How to use the Now tab

  1. Open Now: Tap Now at the top left of the app.

  2. Swipe:

    • Swipe rightOpen station details

    • Swipe leftSkip and see the next option

Tip: Swiping right jumps straight to the station view, where you can start a charging session immediately.

Why “Now”?

  • Faster decisions: No map overload, no distractions.

  • Relevance first: Only the information you need to choose confidently.

  • On-the-go comfort: One-handed use — perfect for quick selection before you set off.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How is “Now” different from the Lademap?
Now is the swipe-based quick finder. The Lademap gives you the full map overview, ideal for manual exploration.

Can I start charging directly from “Now”?
Yes. When you’re at the station, you can start charging via the app. Your RFID charging card also works as a reliable backup.

What does “live availability” mean?
We display real-time status data when provided by the CPO.

Note: Availability can change on-site at short notice.

Data note

Prices, availability, opening hours, and POIs come from live operator and partner data. Short-term differences on-site are possible (please follow local signage).
