In this article, you’ll learn when and how you receive your StromNow invoices, how the billing period works, and what happens after you complete a charging session.


How the Billing Process Works

1. Transmission of Charging Data
After each charging session, the Charge Point Operator (CPO) sends the measured data to us.
The speed of this process depends on the respective CPO — in some cases, data transmission can take a few days.

2. Data Processing
Once we receive your charging data, it is automatically processed and prepared for billing.

3. Monthly Consolidated Invoice
At StromNow, you don’t receive individual invoices for each charging session.
Instead, we issue one consolidated monthly invoice, designed to make your accounting simpler and more efficient.

  • The billing period always covers the first to the last day of a calendar month.

  • Invoices are generated at the end of the month and sent automatically by email at the beginning of the following month.

  • Each invoice includes a complete overview of all your charging sessions and costs for that period.

Please note: There may be delays if certain CPOs send their data later than expected.
