Account Credit and Outstanding Balance

Account Balance

In the “Me” section of the StromNow app, you can view your account’s current balance at any time. It shows whether you have any charging credit or an outstanding balance.

When is credit displayed?

If your account has a credit balance, it will be shown at the top of the screen. This may be the case, for example, if you received credit through a referral campaign, a bonus, or another promotion. The credit is displayed in a green highlighted field together with the amount.

When is an outstanding balance displayed?

If there is an outstanding balance on your account, this will also be shown in the Me section. In this case, the amount appears in a red highlighted field.

An outstanding balance usually occurs when an automatic payment collection has failed. If this happens, your account will most likely be temporarily blocked from starting further charging sessions until the outstanding amount has been settled. In this case, please contact our support team.

What does it mean if nothing is displayed?

If neither credit nor an outstanding balance is shown in the Me section, this means that your account is balanced. In this case, no further action is required.

Important note about profiles

If you use multiple profiles, please make sure you are currently in the correct profile. Some users have both a private and a professional profile.

You can switch between profiles at any time using the drop-down menu below your name. Any available credit or outstanding balance is shown only within the respective profile.

Why isn’t the balance displayed permanently?

We have deliberately decided not to show the balance permanently, as in most cases the account is balanced and the amount is 0. The information is therefore only displayed when there is actually something to note — meaning when there is either available credit or an outstanding balance.
