How to delete your account
Welcome to the Help Center! In this article, we show you how to permanently delete your StromNow account directly in the app. Please note that many of your stored data will be permanently deleted as part of this process.
Step-by-step guide to deleting your account
1. Open the app
Open the StromNow app on your smartphone and sign in if needed.
2. Open the menu area
Tap the round icon in the top right corner to open your personal profile area.
3. Open account settings
Select “Account Settings” to view your account options.
4. Delete account
Scroll down and tap “Delete Account.” A notice will inform you about the consequences of this action.
5. Confirm deletion
Read the information carefully and confirm the deletion by tapping “Delete.” Your account will then be permanently removed.
Delete your account without app access
If you would like to delete your account but do not have access to the app or can no longer log in, please contact us at [email protected], ideally using the email address linked to your account.
Important notes
Which data will be deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following data will be removed, among other things:
personal information
saved payment methods
saved vehicles
charging history and app-related settings
Any data not explicitly listed here will also be deleted as part of the account deletion process unless we are required to retain it by law.
Which data may still be retained?
Certain invoice-related, tax-related, or accounting-related records may still need to be stored after your account has been deleted due to legal retention requirements. This particularly applies to invoices and billing-related records that we are legally required to retain for the applicable retention period.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. Please cancel them separately through the App or Play Store.
Cannot be undone
Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

How do I cancel my subscription before deleting my account?
You can manage and cancel your subscription directly through the relevant store. On iOS, you can do this via “Manage Subscriptions” in your Apple account settings.
